Well, it's official. We've moved from our home in beautiful Cedar Hills. Left family, friends, neighbors and ward members that we love. Some of you in the corporate world might be familiar with the book/presentation, "Who Moved My Cheese?" Anyway, it's the best way to describe what our move is all about. The book is about 2 mice. One finds a huge amount of cheese and settles with what he has and the other is constantly looking for more cheese to progress. Anyway, kinda a funny way to describe it but it's what comes to mind.
We've been praying for an opportunity and we're so glad and grateful for my Uncle Shane who provided us with one. We're in Billings, MT and Greg is working for Rocky Mountain Home Care. We're all excited to be here!
Tanner started his first day of school today. Here in MT the school is K-8 grade. So Tanner is in Middle School with a locker and all. What a transition to make all in one week. A new state, a new school, new friends, MIDDLE SCHOOL (YIKES)...When I dropped him off I was sooo nervous for him. He'll do great though. He didn't seem nervous so why should I be, right? He's always been the class clown and makes friends easily. So no need to worry, right Mom?
This morning Greg said to me, "You're lucky you get to stay home with the kids!" And my response was, "You're right, I AM LUCKY!!!" Lucky and blessed in more ways I can even comprehend. We're grateful for all who helped us move...Especially Lynn, Aaron & Angela. We couldn't have done it without you!!!!!!!!
Anyway, kinda a journal entry more than a posting...

Dammit Alyson, I was still trying to pretend that you were across the street!
I'm SO excited for you and glad for your new adventures. Just sad for myself!!
Alyson - I've been following your blog since right before little Ty was born! I never commented because I thought you wouldn't know who I was :) Congrats on the big move and your new job! I am loving being at home with my babe and find that I still don't get stuff done around the house...Good to hear from you and good luck settling in!

You'll have to call me when you get a minute. I meant to come by and didn't make it in time. I want to send you some things in the mail. I'm glad things are going well so far. I miss you already!!
I am so glad that you made it there safely. I thought about you all last night and said a little prayer for you in this new adventure. Love ya lots Aunt wendy
Oh this pic kind of makes me sad. I don't know why. It wasn't my house. Maybe it's the thought that you and Natalie get to be close to eachother. Can you say Jealousy!
I know Tanner will do well in school! He's very bright! I wondered his new school was elementary, middle, or jr. high. Good luck with your new life in Montana, and dress warm in the winter!!!
Congrats on your move and new job. Greg will be great--he'll be a great asset, he's so personable. Can't believe you had a truck and a trailer. I take it your mom and dad got there safely to with your car. Enjoy.
Alyson,
Good luck to you and your family and getting resettled in Montana. I know we didn't get to see you very often but at least I can keep up with what you are up to on your blog. We are happy for you!
