Where have I been you ask???

So you're probably wondering if I've fallen off the face of the earth and why I haven't posted any pictures of Ty as he's progressing in life. Well, the poor little guy has colic. It's really quite sad. For both me and him :) You feel so bad for them because they're miserable in pain but am I the only one who feels kinda bad for myself too? I think I say about 500 prayers every night. 250 on Ty's behalf and the other 250 on mine. I pray for patience I know I didn't have before. And then I'm blessed with it. And then 5 minutes later when those patience have vanished, I pray for more..LOL!! I forgot how hard babies were and I know many of you can relate!
So that being said, I will quickly humble myself and say that I am so grateful to have a baby. Especially one that is healthy otherwise. He's such a sweet little snuggly guy when he's feeling well. I know that it could be so much worse!
Anyway, I miss checking in on everyone and their blogs! It's been hard keeping up.
Wow, I'm rambling...probably time to go to bed...LOL!!!

I feel so bad for the two of you. Hopefully you can get a little rest this weekend. Does he cry if you take him outside?

A couple of more days and we can help you out. What about a the noise of the vaccuum or a car ride? How is your new formula working? I will pray for you too. Heaven knows having a baby is a new experience each time. Love you-stick in there!

Oh honey, you're not the only one who feels bad for you!!! It stinks SO bad, nothing is worse than not being able to help your baby to feel better!!!

I'm so sorry!! Hang in there I swear it gets better! I'm sure you're doing all the tricks, I just used to give Avery a dose of Mylicon before her bottle & after her bottle. It helped. Let me know if you need ANYTHING I'm right across the street!!!

Hey Alyson- It's your cousin Lindsey (Johnsons). My Aunt Denise told me about your biggest loser challenge. What a sweet little boy you have there!! Keep in touch.

It makes it so much harder to have no husband around!! You need someone else to spell you occassionally. Seriously, if you can stand the ride into SLC, I am HAPPY to take a shift any time. I have not had a crying baby around for years, so my patience hasn't been tested in a very long while. I am fresh and ready to go, and totally serious with my offer. You can nap in the basement and I'll take Ty upstairs or vice versa. Or, you could go in to the office for a couple of hours and have some adult conversation. I really mean it. Come on over!!

I feel your pain, we've had to take quite a few car rides for that very reason. Have you tried Nutrimagen formula? My friend had to use that for her baby and it was the only thing that worked. You're such a great mom, I'm sure you've tried it all but just in case... Hang in there?

Thank you everyone for your supportive comments & suggestions. And thank you Ranae for offering to help! That meant a lot :)
I switched formulas (once again) yesterday. This kid is going to be the connoisseir of formula! My friend Katie told me to try Alimentum. Thank you Katie! So far, so good. It smells terrible and I'm sure taste even worse! Ty doesn't like it and now it's just a struggle to get him to eat it! I have to put a drop of syrup on the nipple to even get him to drink it. Isn't life funny..if it's not one thing it's the next. I guess that keeps us on our feet :)

Oh, Alyson! Colic is SO hard! Here's a couple more you can try(because you never know which ones will work). *maybe get a super-soft blanket with satin edging and swaddle him super-tight like a little burrito *let him sleep in a swing or get one of those vibrating bouncers--we had one that provided white noise (by Boppy)--Sera loved it *take a break and go outside for a few minutes when you can

They probably won't help much, but you just never know--I wish I could volunteer a shift, he's GORGEOUS!!

Hey Alyson, how did the CD work? Were you able to print of pictures? If not let me know so I can get you a different CD. Also, I am coming back to Utah in June/July sometime. If you still want we can take some pictures of Tanner and Tyson then. I heard the good news about your job. That's great! It pays to be one heck of an employee/worker.
